Workshop
The Smith Solutions Work shop, for in house fabrication, Sheetmetal, and machining. We are capable and efficient in welding steel, Stainless steel, Aluminium and Titanium. Our guillotine is capable of cutting 8mm steel and aluminium and 4mm stainless steel, Our brake press is 150ton.
We have a small machine shop including a lathe and a mill as well many other pieces of equipment that help us to serve many clients across many industries.
Proficient in Cad and design we are able to manufacture or source parts as needed. We have excellent industry relationships and contacts to commission services to complement our own. If we can’t do it in house, we certainly know people who can.
Below is a list of just some of what we do for various clients.
General Public- Small repairs, handrails (disability or architectural), trailers, tool boxes, canopies, boats, cars, bikes, caravans, garden art, hobbies etc. Can include home visits if required.
Builders- Manufacture and fabricate structural steel work, UB’s, PFC’s, Posts, Columns can be painted or sent out for Galvanising. Can include onsite install and welding.
Building Manufacturing-- Fabricate custom brackets including cutting, folding, machining and welding of assorted plate sizes
and material. Conveyors, chutes. Including repairs and breakdowns
Food industry- We have excellent knowledge and experience in all aspects of the food industry. We Fabricate hoppers, Conveyors, chutes, reject stations, tables, benches, sinks, pipework just to name a few. Including repairs and breakdowns.
Mining- We have several clients in mining sector. We provide full fabrication and machining services as well as repairs and breakdowns.
Electricians- Brackets, conduits, enclosures, top hats, flashings can be gal, powder coated, stainless etc
